  8.   EZVIEW is a quick, handy file viewing utility. The wrinkle that's worthy of
  9.   note here is CURSOR CONTROL. Have you ever been programming or analyzing
  10.   files and wished you could use the cursor to count bytes or characters ?
  11.   Now you can____with EZVIEW.
  12.      
  13.   To put it to work, install it in a directory in your path (Change the name
  14.   to suit your needs, ie : VIEW). Type EZVIEW at the command line. The current
  15.   directory appears for file selection. To change directories, place the
  16.   cursor on one of the up or down arrows and press enter. To change drives, 
  17.   press <D> and select a drive. Once in the desired directory, use the cursor 
  18.   to select a file to view and press enter. Your cursor is active in all 
  19.   directions and is now a counter, tracked at the top of the screen.

  21.   If you want to view the file in HEX FORMAT, press <H>. You may go back to 
  22.   viewing in TEXT FORMAT by pressing <T>. Pressing <F> takes you to the FILE
  23.   SELECTION screen. F1 produces a HELP SCREEN listing keyboard commands for
  24.   these and all other functions available.
  25.      
  26.   If you have an edit program in the current directory or in your path, press 
  27.   <E> to either edit the file you are viewing, or the file you've selected 
  28.   from the file selection screen. By default EZVIEW uses 'EDIT', and searches
  29.   your path first for edit.com and then for edit.exe. If you have a program 
  30.   with a different name then 'EDIT', and prefer to use it, press <Alt> E and 
  31.   enter the name, not including the extension (i.e. 'QEDIT' for a program 
  32.   named qedit.com or qedit.exe). EZVIEW saves the name you entered and will
  33.   use it from then on.

  35.   Go DIRECTLY TO ANY LINE NUMBER in a file by pressing <L> and entering the 
  36.   desired line number. This saves time trying to get around in a large file.
  37.      
  38.   EZVIEW includes a SEARCH ROUTINE to find strings in either hex or text
  39.   format and a SORT ROUTINE to arrange files by Name, Extension, Size or Date 
  40.   for the file selection screen. 
  41.      
  42.   PRINT out all or part of a file by moving the cursor to the top line of the 
  43.   block of text you wish to print and mark it by pressing <ALT> T. Then use
  44.   <ALT> B to mark the bottom line of the block. Use <Alt> P to print out the
  45.   marked block. Unmark a marked block by pressing <ALT> U. If you are printing
  46.   out hex code, use <ALT> F to activate the hex filter. This masks out ASCII
  47.   charcacters 0 - 31 and 127, which represent printer commands.

  49.   Fancy a paticuclar COLOR CONFIGURATION ? ... Use the F2 - F7 keys to toggle
  50.   through and find your favorite colors. Press <Alt> C to save them.
  51.      
  52.   MOUSE SUPPORT - The mouse controls the keys listed at the bottom of the 
  53.   screen and can be used in the file, text and hex modes to reposition the
  54.   cursor. Put the mouse cursor over your choice or screen position, and 
  55.   click the left mouse button.

  57.   EZVIEW is IBM XT/AT compatible with DOS 2.0 and up. CGA, EGA and VGA are
  58.   supported. EZVIEW views files to 16Mb and handles directories to 1870 files.

  65.   You are granted a limited license to make an evaluation copy for trial use

  70.   use. The purchase of a disk from a shareware distributor does not constitute
